About Richard Lown
Richard has been in sales all his working life. Here are some of the career highlights that illustrate the breadth of his experience: 
- His career began at Xerox back in the early 1970’s where he won top salesman of the year awards (Par Club) twice, as well as top sales manager of the year.
- In IBM he won a number of high-achievement awards for exceptional sales performance.
- In the 1980’s he worked for CASE Communications where he won nine Millionaire Club awards in succession (a record that was never broken).
- During his time at CASE he managed sales operations for Northern Europe and later set up and ran the Middle East operation.
- In the 1990’s he became International Sales VP for Scientific Atlanta (a company eventually acquired by Cisco), before finally setting up his own sales consultancy in 1997.
After nearly 40 years of selling and managing sales people all over the world, as well as running a successful sales training business, working with highly skilled sales trainers, there are probably few individuals today who could claim to have such a long and sustained level of success in selling.
